Although I write a good deal, I rarely cut right to the point of what I want to say. Most simply put, my interest is in recognizing and describing fine distinctions around me everywhere, but especially in language. For a number of reasons I have been reluctant to write a blog; one I am lazy and not highly motivated, and two I don't always express myself clearly to other people. Fine distinctions require whole paragraphs to make a point few can be bothered to see and apprieciate, and a lifetime asking questions and processing thought.

I'll give it some more thought and see what I come up with.
